The Gaze of the Soul

"Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith." Hebrews 12:2

Faith is not frantic self-inspection. It is the soul turning its gaze toward Christ and staying there. The more we measure our own spiritual temperature, the smaller and more anxious the room becomes.

When accusation or pride interrupts you today, answer both with the same movement: look to Jesus. Let His mercy, authority, patience, and beauty become larger than your inner weather.

Prayer: Jesus, gather my divided attention. Hold my gaze until trust becomes steadier than fear.
