The Speaking Voice

"Speak, Lord, for your servant hears." 1 Samuel 3:9

God has not become mute. The difficulty is often not His silence but our noise. We crowd the inner room with commentary, hurry, and suspicion, then wonder why the holy whisper seems faint.

Read a short passage of Scripture aloud today. Afterward, write one sentence that begins with, "I hear You inviting me to..." Keep it humble and test it by the character of Christ.

Prayer: Shepherd of my soul, quiet every rival voice. Make me responsive to Your word and quick to obey what love makes clear.
